Our wharf cellar is located in the museum quarter in the middle of the old city center of Utrecht and is therefore an ideal base for exploring the area.

For walks through the old city center, around the bastion around the canal or upstream along the Oudegracht via the Krommerijn towards Amelisweerd.

To make cycling trips through the city, or further out of the city to, for example, the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, along the Lek or the Vecht.

There is also the possibility to experience the area from the water with a canoe, subboard, pedal boat or electric dinghy.

In the immediate vicinity are many nice restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are also various takeaways that make it possible to enjoy a meal in the apartment or on the wharf.

The apartment is located between the shops of the oldest shopping street in Utrecht - the Twijnstraat - and the shopping area of the city center. And in bad weather there is of course Hoog Catharijne.

And let's not forget the many interesting museums that are definitely worth a visit, such as the Catharijne Convent, the University museum with botanical garden, the Centraal & Miffy museum, Sonneborgh Museum & Observatory, the Railway Museum, the Utrecht Archives and the Speelklok museum.

And last but not least: TivoliVredenburg. A ‘musical city-in-a-city’. Having five auditoriums, TivoliVredenburg can offer something for everyone.
